Polly Palmerini is a photographic artist based in Manchester UK. Currently a Teaching Assistant on the BA (Hons) Photography at Manchester School of Art.

Her practice concentrates on materiality, malleability and the performative quality of everyday objects, which an interest in objects found in her surroundings. Her past work ‘Odds and Ends’focused on discarded items, left as trash which have lost their original purpose and their role as commodities in our lives.  She has been exploring the never settling relationship in photography between what we see and what we know, by playing with ideas of illusion and myth.
